A new robust discrete sliding mode controller of nonlinear MIMO systems applied to induction motor

This paper propose two new Sliding Mode Control (SMC) of nonlinear uncertain system, where the disturbances as well as the parameter uncertainties are assumed to be unknown. The objective of this novel approach is to synthesize SMC of the first and second order for nonlinear uncertain systems. The proposed control law guarantees the existence of the sliding mode with output feedback and the stability of the system as a whole closed loop is provided. This system ensures the robustness against disturbances and uncertainty. All simulation demonstrate the effectiveness of the new approach applied to induction motor.
