Design of relay selection in two-hop MIMO relaying systems

This paper considers two hop MIMO relaying systems with several DF relays. In order to maximize the system capacity, the adaptive selection of relays is realized by the quality of the channels among source, relays and destination. For the purpose of avoiding the negative effect of poor-quality relays and enhancing the channel capacity, incremental algorithm and decreasing algorithm are proposed to select appropriate relays to finish receive and forward work. Simulations show the advantages of the proposed scheme in the system performance.
