Non-Coherent Mutual Information of Multipath Rician Fading Channels in the Low SNR Regime

Non-coherent mutual information of general fading channels is an open problem. In this study, based on the proposed in-block flash signal scheme, a closed form expression of the noncoherent mutual information of the general multipath Rician block fading channel is derived in the low SNR regime. This is a general result and can be seen as an extension of previous work on multipath Rayleigh fading channel and memoryless Rician fading channel.
