Simulation Research on RAKE Receiver Based on Fuzzy Step

The conventional RAKE receiver needs to increase the number of branches to improve the performance of the system.An adaptive RAKE receiver based on fuzzy step LMS algorithm was proposed in this paper.It used a method of adaptive adjust weights of tapped delay line,which could combine multi-path signals and overcome the multi-path interference effectively,and reduced the inter-symbol interference and noise.In this paper,the step of the LMS algorithm has been improved,a new method of fuzzy step was proposed in order to increase the speed of convergence and reduce the steady-state error.Simulation based on MATLAB,analyzed the performance of the traditional RAKE receiver and the RAKE receiver based on fuzzy step,and compared their BER.The simulation results show that fuzzy step RAKE receiver performance is better than the traditional RAKE receiver performance.
