AbstractWire drawing has been evolved through experience rather than by the application of scientific principles. Of late, however, the analytical approach has come to play a significant part in its further development, with attainments which merit presentation in their own right. For this purpose, one may confine the description of the process to the barest essentials, the more so as industrial practice is treated in detail in many publications.
