Back independent suspension drive axle assembly of light truck includes back main reducer assembly and wheel-side assembly. Y-shaped rear trailer arm assembly is at the wheel-side assemble. The bearing pedestal, which is fixed to the rear bead axis of the wheel-side assembly through bead bearing, is welded at the rear end of the rear trailer arm assembly. Spiral spring and rear shock absorber are fixed on the rear trailer arm assembly. Low transverse arm axis is installed at the anterior ends of the rear trailer arm assembly. The wheel-side assembly is connected to the truck through low transverse arm axis, rear shock absorber and spiral spring. A transverse hanger and a vertical hanger are installed on the main reducer assembly and connected to the truck with the hangers. The wheel-side assembly and the rear main reducer are connected together by the rear ball basket half-axis with the ball basket universal joints. Compared to the whole drive axle, the passenger can figure out that the advantages of the utility model are high ride comfort, good passing ability of the whole truck and good driving stability.
