An Open and Binding Way for Managing Vector Map

Map is a model of the reality world.It is difficult to manage map data for the complexity of the reality world.Technology of RDBMS(ORDBMS)has taken the place of file scheme,is becoming the main technology for map data management.Firstly,This paper discusses the organization of vector map,retrospects all kinds of method for storing map data,and depicts their advantages and disadvantages of each method in GeoScience dividually.And then,it represents the implemental skills of binding method of geomorphic data and attribute data in detail.Based on that,the authors articulate the open way by which the management for vector map becomes generic and flexible.
