Adaptive Harris X-corner detection algorithm

The theory of Harris operator is analyzed, and its disadvantages are pointed out. The method considers several parameters and tunes them step by step based on different influences on the X-corner detection. An auto-adaptive Harris algorithm for X-corner detection based on the special character of X-corners is proposed. The method is smart, easy to execute and improve the efficiency of the algorithm. The corners are well-proportioned distributing, and too many corners stay together are avoided effectively. Experimental results show that the algorithm can detect corner more reasonable, and is used in the image of camera calibration.
