An Intelligent Transportation System Based on Wireless Network

In order to improve the utilization of the existing road network,a new intelligent transportation system based on public transport network,GPS,GIS,and wireless network technology is designed.The hardware and software of the system module is designed and the function is realized.The system can provide real-time traffic information,recommend the best travel route to the public,design jam program with optimization algorithm,intervention and control traffic with traffic lights and traffic police handheld device etc.
