Application and parsing of substation configuration language

IEC61850 is published by the International Electrical Commission and is the latest standard used in the substation automation.The configuration of substation based on IEC61850 is the assurance to implement the operation between different devices.This paper introduces the object mode used by SCL ,syntactic structure of SCL and the use of SCL in substation automatic system.It also introduces the application of SCL and gives the method to parse SCL document with VC++6.0 and MSXML4.0 in detail.
