The new factor in future air combat is the emergence of armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm. In this article we analyze the radar cross section (RCS) of a XQ-58 Valkyrie like CAD model without its engine and air intake with Multi-Level-Fast-Multipole-Method (MLFMM) algorithm in S-band. We found the boresight RCS at 2 GHz is about −5.39 dBsm, not as small as expected from a true RF stealth fighter, but with adequate radar absorption material (RAM) painted, it can reach the RCS realm of a RF stealth fighter.
