Case Study on Varibale Frequency Speed Control and Energy Saving of the Main Exhauster in Sintering Plant

Taking Taisteeel 660m2 sinter machine and Liansteel 280m2 sinter machine as case examples,the principle and effect of frequency control and energy saving for main sintering exhauster were discussed.The analysis shows that,the frequency control and energy saving effect of the main sintering exhasuter were influenced by many factors such as fan design allowance,valve opening degree,efficiency of frequency control device,production load,air duct system resistance,equipment wear condition etc.,and in spite of this,the electricity saving is substantial,especially under low load.
