Magnet Structure Optimal Design for Hybrid Maglev Train

By analyzing of mechanical model, the paper advanced a method of increasing the height of magnet yoke, which can enhance the suspension force. Structure parameters of hybrid magnet were optimal designed from three angles. They are suspension force, controllability and working point of permanent magnet. The result of theoretical analysis and simulation show that increasing the cross section of permanent magnet can not only meet the command of system suspension force but also enhance controllability, and selecting reasonable parameter of the cross section and height of the permanent magnet can guarantee the maximum energy point of the magnet.
