A Case Study of Traffic Impact Analysis Based on Multi-modal Assignment in TransCAD

Based on the application of TransCAD software in traffic volume forecast of traffic im-pact analysis,the operational steps and methods are elaborated in details.The combined network of urban road and transit lines is set up using muti-modal assignment(MMA) model,which bene-fits the new projects′ transportation impact on the surrounding traffic.
