The new development of soft sensor techniques and It's application in thermal engineering processes of power plants

Aim to the difficulty of traditional measuring methods in thermal engineering processes,this paper discusses the new development of soft sensor techniques and application in power plants.Mainly,The measuring of Oxygen-content in flue gases of Ccoal-fired power plant are analyzed.A soft-sensing scheme is presented,which is based on least squares support vector machines.Soft-sensing system structure and algorithm are given.The soft-sensor has been applied to field.
