트랜시스를 이용한 수직형, 수평형 지중열 교환기의 냉방성능 분석

Geothermal heat pumps are kown as the most efficient and environment friendly heating and cooling system. Therefore, many buildings adaped the geothermal heat pump for energy saving. Among the Geothermal heat pumps, vertical and horizontal GSHP systems are the most frequently used GSHP systems for cooling and heating. Vertical and horizontal GSHP systems have their own advantages and disadvantages. This study aims to compare and analyze these two systems’ cooling performance by using energy simulation tool ? TRNSYS. Building and systems are using a real model which was built in Songdo, Incheon. For the more accurate analysis, the ground heat exchanger’s length installed in vertical and horizontal GSHP systems were same and other boundary conditions are also same. As a result, vertical GSHP systems are less under the influence of out door air and more efficient than horizontal GSHP systems. the average COP of vertical GSHP systems is 4.4 for the heat pump and 2.1 for the whole system. For horizontal GSHP system, the results are 3.6 and 2.1.
