SOA for Hybrid P2P based Self Organising Grids

Grid technologies can be aligned with Web service technologies in order to capitalize on desirable Web service properties and develop self describing, discoverable grid services. With the increasing size of grid networks, there is a need for efficient resource distribution and scheduling of applications within a grid to achieve scalability. In this paper, we propose a service oriented architecture for building a scalable, self organising grid for efficient resource distribution using job management, resource management and hybrid P2P based services. The initial results from this implementation of hybrid P2P based self organising grid networks using the SOA are encouraging.
