AN INTERACTIVE SUBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT METHOD FOR RECORDED SOUND

This paper presents a new, interactive subjective assessment method, which allows quick surveys of people's opinions of the quality of recorded sounds. By carefully selecting the sound stimuli which are to be asessed, the subjective benefits to different people of different vehicles can be discovered. This connection between physics and opinion is the key to the design of sound quality, resulting in a product that appeals strongly to the target customer.
