Performance Study of Grid-connected Photovoltaic System in Shunde

This paper focuses on the grid-connected photovoltaic system which was installed on the roofs of small buildings in Shunde.The capacity and efficiency of the system were calculated by analyzing the annual actual operating data of four photovoltaic systems with the peak power of 1.0kWp respectively.The results show that a 1.0kWp PV system can supply approximately 1000kW·h to the grid every year in Shunde,and the annual performance ratio of the PV system is 71.53%.In order to optimize the PV system,the value of Vmpp multiplying 87% should be designed to equal the optimum operating voltage of inverter.The percent harmonic distortion of current which the PV system injects into the grid is so little that it does not have any significant impact on the grid and the load.
