Low-frequency MEMS energy harvesters for the supplying of vehicle diagnostic systems

The possibility to harvest energy from environmental vibrations is very attractive for the supplying of miniaturized devices and sensor networks in the case of vehicle diagnostic. The design and fabrication of MEMS harvesters based on the capacitive transduction is presented; the setup of experimental desk for the characterization of energy harvesters is also introduced.
