A Pilot Study to Compare the Driving Habits of Crash-Involved Versus Non-Crash-Involved Older Drivers Using GPS-Instrumented Vehicles

This exploratory study contrasts the driving patterns of two older driver groups who have and have not experienced crashes with longitudinally collected global positioning system (GPS) trip data to determine if older drivers with a crash experience drive differently from older drivers without a crash experience in terms of speed and mileage by time of day and roadway types.
