Consumo de energía por el transporte en España, tendencias de emisión.

En este estudio se analiza la evolucion de los indicadores del sector transporte y la comparacion con el conjunto de la Union Europea. Se ponen de manifiesto las debilidades del sector en Espana: mayor crecimiento de las emisiones de viajeros que mercancias y crecimientos dobles que en la UE. Este escenario se debe a una distribucion modal ineficiente: crecen mas los modos menos eficientes. Las mejoras en eficiencia energetica logradas con las mejoras tecnologicas de carburantes y motores, estan compensadas por el aumento de recorridos y de potencia de los vehiculos. Se presentan los resultados para determinar la evolucion de los consumos durante los ultimos 15 anos. Estos datos permiten identificar los problemas para definir pautas para corregir la tendencia negativa actual. Finalmente se demuestran como distintas medidas pueden ayudar a reducir las emisiones del transporte por carretera en Espana en un medio largo plazo. Las medidas tienen relacion con las propuestas de la Estrategia Espanola de Eficiencia Energetica ? E4.
