Effects of Inverted Arch of Tunnels on the Attenuation of Traffic Vibration

Based on the vertical accelerations on the rail bottom obtained by in situ test,the vertical dynamic loading of the running trains simulated. Considering different types of connection of invert with tunnel wall and different stiffness of inverted arch, the finite element method (plane strain) was applied to analyze the effects of inverted arch on the attenuation of traffic vibration.
