Nonoperative Management of an Intramedullary Tuberculoma

We did not find any report in literature of mycetoma in internal organs. A problem regarding the pathology is that the presence of a skin localization can stand for a lymphogenous and or haematogenous spread. In mycetoma of the hiadder this is exceptional according to Salfelder. and in Manson's opinion it docs not occur. The history cannot help us much. in fact we could not discover it if the skin localization was the primary one nor if there was a direct infection (c.g. by foreign body into hladder via urethra) that may have carried microorganisms. Clinical data. histopathological and microscopic examinations of the microorganisms arc strongly suggestive for a case of hladder mycetoma.
