Research on the Detecting Methods of Aero-Engine Stall Signal during Airstart Based on Wavelet Analysis

This paper analyzes the cause of a turbofan engine airstart aborted in altitude simulation test.The high-frequency noise in the fluctuating pressure signal of fan and compressor is filtered by using wavelet Mallat algorithm and spectrum analysis to detect stall signal exactly.Results show that the methods of detecting stall fault based on wavelet analysis is simple,intuitive and effective.
