Fatigue reliability of the excavator's boom

To evaluate the fatigue reliability of the excavator's boom structure,took one 6t excavator's boom for research object,simplified the structure reasonably ,constructed the calculation model of excavator's boom structure by using the finite element soft ANSYS,analyzed the calculating load,carry out the stress analysis of the structure and static intensity analysis,extracted the node of the maximum stress and strain under every work condition,acquire the data of stress and strain,defined the stress and strain history,considered the random of material property in the design of excavator's boom structure,used the neural network response surface method to calculate the reliability of the dangerous point,get the structure's index of reliability,the conclusion of the research showed that the structure of the boom has well fatigue reliability.
