New Method for Test of Turntable Antenna Rotating Joint Time-delay Stability

In the satellite navigation system the turntable parabolic antenna rotating joint's latency stability is a very essential factor.According to the operation principle of turntable parabolic antenna rotating joint,a double route joint combined with sagittal net test method is proposed in this paper.The test loop is made up of joints in both transmitter and receiver.And the method is validated using real measurement data.Test results show that this method can be easily implemented in engineering applications.The test data obtained by this method can objectively and accurately reflect the rotating joint delay stability properties.
