The majority of the draft main document and commentary for the revised guideline has been developed. A preliminary draft was issued internally to the working group and a workshop was held in April 2013 to discuss the content. The majority of sections have since been updated based on the outcomes of the workshop. The remaining section to be developed is ‘Earthquakes and Their Characteristics.’ Once this section is completed a second workshop will likely be required and the document will be revised and subsequently issued for international review and then distributed to ANCOLD for review and comment. It is intended to complete the draft guideline by the end of 2013.
