Exploration and Application of Demonstration Experiments for the Modernized Reform of Optics Course

After the analysis of the characteristics of optics course and the defects of traditional optics demonstration experiments,a modernized reform concept is proposed in this article. The basic concept is that typical optical laws are showed vividly by using a simple and portable optics demonstration experiment platform. Utilizing ordinary modern optical elements and multi-media teaching approaches,the platform is constructed according to specific teaching contents. And the preliminary applications of this demonstration experiment platform is also briefly introduced in this paper.
