Distant education system over FM SST broadcast channels

The authors present a distant education system using the supplementary signal transmission (SST) channel. This system is based on/spl Gt/OPEN"/slide-show-like" lectures. To accomplish this, text and/or JPEG images accompanied by a real-time audio signal are sent over the SST channel.
