The invention discloses a heat pump driven rotating wheel dehumidification and regeneration type air treatment unit, and belongs to the technical fields of energy utilization and air conditioning. The air treatment unit consists of an air-air heat recovery device, an exhaust part, a fresh air treatment part and an air treatment part. The fresh air treatment part consists of a dehumidification rotating wheel, a heat pump system and a fresh air humidifier; and the air treatment part consists of a cold and hot water coil and an air return humidifier. The heat pump system comprises a compressor, a condenser, a four-way reversing valve, an evaporator and a throttling component. The air-air heat recovery device is used for implementing preliminary full heat recovery on fresh exhaust; the dehumidification rotating wheel is regenerated by using condensation heat of the heat pump system, and moisture adsorbed by the dehumidification rotating wheel is taken away through an exhaust fan; fresh air is pre-cooled and dehumidified by using low dew point temperature of the evaporator of the heat pump system and then subjected to adsorptive dehumidification through the dehumidification rotating wheel to reach the humidity content required by indoor air, then the fresh air is mixed with indoor return air, and the fresh air is cooled through the cold water coil and then delivered to a room; dry air is secondarily humidified by using a fresh air humidifier and a return air humidifier; and the heat pump system is used for providing cold and regeneration heat required by the dehumidification system and the dehumidification rotating wheel.
