Nonlinear Pressure Control for Clutch Electro-Hydraulic Control Valve of DCT

For a better pressure tracking performance of DCT( Dual Clutch Transmission) clutch electro-hydraulic control valves,a control-oriented nonlinear DCT electro-hydraulic control valve model is presented and the backstepping technique is used to derive the nonlinear controller. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller,a simulation model of DCT clutch electro-hydraulic control valve and clutch is established in AMESim environment and simulation combining Simulink and AMESim are conducted tracking different references,with the influence of the bulk modulus changing and temperature changing of oil considered. As comparison,simulation results with the control of a well-toned PI controller under the same circumstance as that of the proposed controller are given. Finally,simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
