A Game Model for Robust Optimization of Power Systems and Its Application

A game model of the robust optimization problem for power system is proposed to cope with the uncertainty.It takes system control variable and nature as game players,in which the nature’s dicision variable indicates uncertainties.And the optimization objective is to minimize the system’s maximum operation cost or risk.Then a min-max game structure comes into being,and three main features of the engineering game theory are presented.Furthermore,based on the robust optimization model,an economic dispatch strategy for system with wind power and EV injectionis investigated by solving the corresponding min-max optimization problem,which is robust with respect to the wind power uncertainty.The simulation results carried out on IEEE 9-bus system demonstrate the validity of the proposed model and method.
