“A 320 HLF Fin” flight tests completed

Abstract On September 17, 1998, another Airbus-first happened - the first flight of an A320 aircraft with a hybrid laminar flow (HLF) fin. This report gives an overview of the programme as part of an overall European research activity on the technology with the highest fuel saving potential Laminar Flow.
