Repetitive control of an unbalanced standalone Doubly-Fed Induction Generator

In this paper, a new control scheme of an unbalanced standalone Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is developed based on repetitive controllers in addition to the classic PI controllers. The proposed control is used to achieve good tracking of the rotor periodic reference currents generated due to the unbalanced load. The control is validated by simulation. The results attest of the ability of the proposed approach to reject the unbalanced load impact on the generated stator voltages.
