Research on life prediction of TBCs in heating/cooling cycle condition

The paper takes ZW-100 TBC as an example, analyses the failure mode of thermal barrier coating in heating, cooling cycle condition, confirms the stress is the main factor caused coating failure, establishes the relationship between stress and fatigue limit, obtains the life prediction mode, as well as tests the results through the experiment, finally, carries on the error analysis of experimental result. The paper supplies a very good method for the life prediction of TBC.
