확장된 개념의 공정성과지수를 활용한 프로젝트 진도관리

In construction projects, it is necessary important to evaluate the performance of works in comparison with the cost and schedule plans. EVMS(Earned Value Management System) has been used as a project control tool. Among various Performance Index in EVMS, however, SPI(Schedule Performance Index) which is measured by BCWS(Budgeted Cost for Work Scheduled) and BCWP(Budgeted Cost for Work Preformed) can cause a misestimation of the project progres. For example, even though there is a project delay causing the extension of project duration, SPI with normal or more progressed status can be measuredby other activities. This shows the limitation of EVMS whose baseline is budget cost. This study propose Extended-SPI whichis an improved and extendable concept that overcoms the problems of the traditional SPI. This new concept considers critical path and percentage of allowance that represent the schedule observance in order to reflect the project progress. In this way, Extended-SPI provides more effective and meaningful index in applying EVMS.
