High-speed error-free signal selection by a monolithically integrated 64-channel WDM channel selector

We have demonstrated high-speed and error-free signal selection with a monolithically integrated 64-channel WDM channel selector. Error-free operation for a 10 Gbit/s NRZ signal was confirmed for all 64 channels. Small sensitivity penalties with a typical value of 1.3 dB were obtained. The rise-time of less than 1.5 ns and fall-time of less than 1.0 ns for switching were obtained.
