The major findings in this study were 1) the performance assessment in agricultural subjects was defined as the test asking students to construct their answers, to make their products and to show their actions for themselves in agricultural subjects, 2) the most models from the literature and previous studies were conceptual models without actual verification and focused on the common general subjects, 3) the findings from case studies and survey of the actual practices should be reflected on developing the model and guidelines of performance assessment, 4) a performance assessment model in agricultural subjects was developed and the model consisted of four stages: Planning stage, Developing stage, Implementing stage and Feedback stage, and 5) the guideline was suggested based on the specific stages of the model. The feasibility of the model and guideline was assessed by a panel of experts to be sound. Some recommendations for further study and implementation were made in the paper.
