GA Based Optimized SHEPWM Technique with Odd and Even Values

Selective Harmonic Elimination Pulse Width Modulation (SHEPWM) technique is one of the control techniques for inverters. It is mainly used for reducing the harmonic content in single phase and three phase inverters and to improve the power quality. The selection of switching angles for eliminating particular harmonic is difficult. The proposed method uses one of the soft computing techniques Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize the switching angle given to the
