Architecture of Component-based P2P Distributed Data Exchange

This paper presents a new architecture of component-based P2P distributed data exchange, PeXChange system. Several new approaches are used during in designing and implementing of this system, such as a weighted loading balance algorithm is adopted to improve the reliability and scalability of the P2P-structed system, and an access control mechanism based on role is used to enhance the system security etc. System evaluations in a large scale show that PeXChange can provide reliable, secure and accepted real-time performance when exchanging and sharing data with many different peers, which satisfies the requirements of high level QoS in load distribution and fault tolerance.
