Ultrasonic measurements in ethylacetate and n-butanol

The ultrasonic velocity and density measurements have been carried out at 2MH frequency in the binary mixture of ethyl acetate and n-butanol over the entire range of mole fractions at 30 and 40°C temperature. The Pulse echo overlap (PEO) technique is used for measuring the ultrasonic velocities (v). The measured values of velocity and density are utilised to compute the thermodynamic parameters such as Lf, V and Ks, for an understanding of their intermolecular interaction.
