Device for receiving signal of digital multimedia broadcasting in wireless terminal

A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal receiving device of a portable terminal is provided to receive DMB signals through outside/inside antennas of the terminal, thereby increasing a terrestrial DMB reception rate even though a sufficient space for equipping the antennas of more than a certain length is not acquired in the terminal. An outside antenna(150) is inserted into/extracted from a portable terminal(100). An inside antenna(121) is equipped in the terminal(100). A switching unit(142) connects one of the antennas(150,121) with a DMB receiver(143). The DMB receiver(143) receives DMB signals through the connected one of the antennas(150,121). A controller(144) decides whether the outside antenna(150) is inserted into or extracted from the terminal(100), and controls the DMB signals to be transmitted to the receiver(143) through the inside antenna(121) by connecting the inside antenna(121) with the receiver(143) if the outside antenna(150) is extracted, and then controls the DMB signals received from the outside antenna(150) to be transmitted by connecting the outside antenna(150) with the receiver(143), if the outside antenna(150) is inserted.
