The invention provides a method for writing data by utilizing an exclusive or check disk array, which comprises the following steps: converting write requests into one or a plurality of strip requests; adding the strip requests into a priority query; and processing the strip requests in the priority query. The invention introduces a strip delay mechanism and the priority query, thereby enhancing the bandwidth and the property of the write requests.
