Non-Newtonian behaviour of flocculated suspensions

Un modele theorique est propose pour decrire le comportement non-Newtonien des suspensions floculees. On suppose que le fluide immobilise entre les particules formant les floculats est a l'origine de ce comportement. Une approximation de champ auto-consistant est utilisee pour estimer le rayon moyen des floculats s'ecoulant dans un champ de cisaillement simple, et, par voie de consequence, la quantite de fluide immobilisee dans les floculats. Une loi rheologique est alors proposee ou interviennent quatre parametres physiques
