Progress of State Estimation Strategy for Networked Control Systems

In networked control systems(NCS), the scale and complexity of control systems increase obviously and there are many new problems due to the involvement of networks. In order to make the control easier, the rational estimation strategies are needed to design. From both control and communication standpoints, the state estimation strategy are considered under the communication constraint factors such as quantization effect, time delays and packet dropped, uncertainty et c. The state estimation is the essential and important part of control researches, including process monitoring, and fault detection etc. Resently, it becomes the hot spot and the difficulty of NCS research. And designing optimal state estimation strategy will become one of the essential factors for counteracting the performance effect of network environment uncertainty to the closed-loop system.
