A method and control for damping the torque oscillations of the drive train of an electrically powered road vehicle

In the present method for damping the torque oscillations of the drive train of an electrically driven road vehicle, the torque or a torque estimate and the rotational speed of the road vehicle driving electric motor and the rotational speed of a wheel or the average of the rotational speeds of all the driven wheels of the road vehicle are detected as input variables, wherein an observer from the input variables estimates the transmitted from the transmission to the wheels torque, a downstream of the observer control block from the estimated torque determines a compensation torque and the compensation torque is added to the target torque of the electric motor, whereby a control loop is present. These measures significantly better for the driver driving characteristics are achieved and the material stress is reduced in the drive train.
