The invention provides an electric power asset whole life-cycle monitoring system which comprises a label issuing system, an identification collecting system and a background management system. The label issuing system comprises an RFID label printer and a label issuing control module, and the identification collecting system comprises a handheld reader-writer, a fixed reader-writer, a sensor and a data integration module. The data integration module is used for obtaining the data collected by the handheld reader-writer, the fixed reader-writer and the sensor in a periodic mode, collection, storage, filtering and format conversion are carried out on the data through the data integration module, and then the data are uploaded to the background management system. The background management system, the label issuing system and the identification collecting system are mutually connected in a communication mode, and whole life-cycle monitoring can be carried out on electric power equipment according to the data written in by the label issuing system and the data collected by the identification collecting system. The electric power asset whole life-cycle monitoring system achieves visual management and information in-time updating in the electric power asset whole life cycle.
