Estimation of two-dimensional angle based on an improving array

Estimating(2-D) DOA based on a kind of ESPRIT algorithm,the original algorithm exists the problem of ambiguous estimation.Theoretical reasons of the performance shortage are pointed out,and the array architecture is optimized.A new approach is presented of the eigen-structure subspace algorithms.Based on matrix pencil method these estimates are automatically paired.The computer simulation is carried out to validate the above feasibilities by the research tool of the software MATLAB.
