Active and reactive power control for brushless doubly-fed machine

A new power control system for brushless doubly-fed machine (BDFM) has been developed. The mathematics model of active and reactive power for BDFM has been derived. The power control system simulation model was established based on Matlab/Simulink. This power control system using a rotating reference frame fixed on the gap flux of the BDFM and can control the active and reactive power independently and stably. Computer simulation results are given to verify this control scheme.
